Estudiante de doctorado en el Departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Bilbao (UPV/EHU), España.
Saioa Herrero was born in 1986. She received her MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) in 2009. In 2011 she has obtained a Master´s degree in Mechanical Engineering: Manufacturing and Design. At the moment, she is doing the PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao. Her research interests are kinematic, parasitic motions in parallel manipulators, optimal design of parallel manipulators, and the application of computational methods to these problems.
