Journal on engineering and industry of the Spanish Federation of Associations of Industrial Engineers.
DYNA engineering journal is one of the most influential and prestigious publications in Spanish in the world. It is a scientific-technical journal and it is published by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Industrial Engineers. It publishes articles on multidisciplinary engineering, generally related to Energy, Environment, Sustainable Development, Automation, etc.
The journal was conceived in 1924 by the Association of Industrial Engineering of Bilbao. It employed donations, advertising and subscriptions for the financing of the editing costs. Regarding the content, editors tried to find and invite the most prominent engineers to collaborate in the technical articles of the journal. Its first issue was published in January 1926 with a circulation of 500, having a very successful welcome.
Since then, the magazine has been published without interruption up to the present. In addition, since 2008 the journal is included in the JCR indexes of the Thomson-Reuters agency. Also, since 2012 the Publicaciones Dyna editorial has created the DYNA Energy and Sustainability journal.
