Corral Saiz, Javier (1979 - )

Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao, UPV/EHU.

He was born in Bilbao in 1979 and finished his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao in 2004. Also in 2004, he started his professional career in the Inmotion Unit at ROBOTIKER-Tecnalia Technology Centre and, simultaneously, he began his doctoral studies at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. In 2008, he joined the research staff as a member of the COMPMECH Research Group in the University of the Basque Country where he also works as Associate professor. Since 2010 he is a full-time lecturer at the University College of Technical Industrial Engineering in Bilbao, University of the Basque Country. In 2011 he received his Ph.D. for a research work in the field of robotics.
