Assitant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao, UPV/EHU.
Mónica Urízar was born in 1982. Received her MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU, Bilbao (Spain) in 2006. In 2010, she obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mechanical Engineering and Structural Systems. At the moment, she is doing the PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao, working also as an Assitant Professor. Her research interests are Kinematics, singularities analysis, configuration space and optimal design of parallel manipulators.
