List of works on Giovanni Battista Benedetti.
Giovanni Battista Benedetti was an italian expert in mathematics, geometry, mechanics and astronomy in the XVI century. He studied the first book of Euclid's Elements under Niccolo Tartaglia. In his works was also interested in perspective. It is remembered for his studies of mechanics, that preemped theories of Galilei and Newton.

Giovanni Battista Benedetti fu un esperto di matematica, geometria, meccanica ed astronomia dell’Italia del XVI secolo. Aveva appreso Euclide studiando con Nicolò Tartaglia. Nelle sue opere si interessò anche di prospettiva. E’ ricordato per i suoi studi di Meccanica, che precorsero le teorie di Galilei e Newton.
