Full professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the University of Sevilla. She has published several national and international articles on mechanical systems. Her research is focused on mechanical system multibody dynamics and vibration analysis among others.

She graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sevilla in 1989. She has collaborated in various scientific R&D projects. In 1988 she made an internship at the University of Sheffield (UK). In 1992 she traveled to USA to make an internship with professor A.A. Shabana. In 1993 she obtained he PhD. on flexible mechanisms. In 1994 she made a research collaboration at the University of Southhamptom (UK).
